We are open and seeing patients in our Hickory and Morganton offices. We can offer telemedicine appointments if you do not feel comfortable with an in-person visit.

To ensure the safety of our patients and our staff, Carolina Foot & Ankle is opening with the following safety precautions in place:

If you have:

• A fever (without a red, hot, swollen limb)
• A cough
• Shortness of breath
• Had contact with a person known to be infected with COVID-19
• Had a confirmed case of COVID-19

Then we ask that you please reschedule your appointment for the safety of our staff and patients.

We currently do not require that patients wear masks/face coverings. We have masks available upon arrival if a patient forgets theirs.

We do require our staff who are directly interacting with and involved in patient care to wear masks.

While some of our staff have chosen to disclose their vaccination status, this is a personal decision and under medical information, and our staff are not obligated to disclose or respond to this if asked.

Hand sanitizer will be available at various places in our office and you will be asked to use it upon arrival.

We request whenever possible that you complete your forms before arriving at our office.

Although cleanliness has always been a priority, we are taking extra steps to make sure that all surfaces are thoroughly disinfected including any shared spaces such as our waiting area.
